I know I know!

It's been a few days but I'm still here and right on track, the thing is weekend came, life got, you know! life! but everything is good. Excuses excuses.

So I've been working out like 4 or 5 times a week, that's very good compared to nothing right?! Seriously now, I already lost 7 lb. and I'm so happy that gave myself permission to eat a hot dog from Union Station, the ones from the stand right there on the door, oh my god! are those good or what!

That was yesterday and today we are back to normal.

Here we are again

The day started good, Ella slept all trough out the night and I had a much needed decent good night sleep.

Had a healthy hearty breakfast and lunch and in a few I'll go to the gym for 30 min or so.

I have to find some good recipes to cook for myself and fun easy and accessible snacks. Been drinking lots of water too!

I keep telling myself: "This is not a diet, is a lifestyle" and you better believe it.

The first step

Today is the first day of my new life style and even though I'm new at this blogging thing I wanted to do something to give myself some encouragement to keep going and keep track.

I tend to start projects and give up if things don't go as I planned but I'll try to do better this time and leave behind that "all or nothing" attitude.

So here's some me history

All my life I've been in the 120's weight range and happy about it, I'm 5"4 and with a pretty proportional body type but when I got pregnant last year I let myself go and gained 50 lbs which is not too bad but I'm not happy about it.

It's been 5 months and I've been stuck at 143 lbs for a while now with the goal to get to my desired 120 before New Year, that is doable! But to get there I have to leave behind all the bad eating habits and work out more, and that is the very hard part having a small baby and a house to attend to, Did I mention that I'm a stay at home mom? That's not easy let me tell you.

Well I've got to go to bed now and tomorrow, oh tomorrow is a fresh new start.
